Temporary, Full-Time (End on or before April 1, 2024)
12 hour shifts (4 on /4 off)

We’re looking for a qualified, temporary full-time Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team at Whispering Winds Village in Pincher Creek, AB. If you are a strong team player, then we’d like to hear from you!
 
The successful candidate will have related experience and has a passion for providing high quality care and support for seniors.  
 
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Plans, coordinates, promotes and delivers social and recreational programs, and physical activities that will enhance the residents’ experience and quality of life.
  • Works directly with the Community Manager, ensuring Golden Life Management policies and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Assists with serving in the dining room, while assisting with food and snack preparations.
  • Observes and reports any suspected changes in physical or cognitive abilities that may require intervention or changes to service provisions.
  • Ensures common areas of the building are kept clean and well presented.
  • Operates the bus in a safe and courteous manner when required.
  • Supports the Community Manager with community outreach, sales, marketing and administrative tasks.
  • Assists the Community Manager in the Resident move-in/out process.
  • Organizes and coordinates the decoration of the Village according appropriate for the season.
  • Acts as a positive and constructive team player, creating exceptional customer service experiences.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Community Manager.

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education with coursework in recreation and fitness or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Training in older adult fitness and exercise is considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Class 4 Driver’s License considered an asset and may be required.
  • Food Safe.
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check.
  • Proof of full Immunization Records.
