We’re looking for a qualified, casual Housekeeping Aide to join our Village team in Calgary, AB. If you are a strong team player, then we’d like to hear from you!
 
The successful candidate will have related experience and has a passion for providing high quality care and support for seniors.  
 
We're looking for someone who:

• Perform housekeeping tasks such as cleaning rooms, sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, preparing cleaning solution, replenishing supplies; and cleaning, disinfecting and storing housekeeping equipment;
• Assist with laundry as needed.
• Operate in a safe manner and report any present or potential health and safety hazards to Manager;
• Interact with residents, guests and staff in a courteous and respectful manner;
• Acts as a positive and constructive team player, creating exceptional customer experiences;
• Follow security and infection control policies and procedures; and,
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements include:

• Effective communication and organizational skills;
• Energetic, focused, and enthusiastic person
• Must be physically capable to perform all the required tasks as outlined in the job description.
• Able to read and write English.
• Must have ability to be self-motivated for this position
• Ability to work independently and as a team-player;
• Physically capable of lifting up to 10kgs;
• WHIMIS
• Able to provide full record of immunizations and TB screening;
• Successful clearance of a vulnerable sector-criminal record check.
