Revenue Clerk

We’re looking for a permanent, full-time Revenue Clerk to join our Corporate Head Office. This position will be based out of Cranbrook, BC, and will be reporting to our Financial Controller. Salary Range: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour commensurate with experience.

We’re looking for a permanent, full-time Revenue Clerk to join our Corporate Head Office. This position will be based out of Cranbrook, BC, and will be reporting to our Financial Controller. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Receiving billing information from company’s various locations, while reviewing and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation (ie. Tenancy Act and Continuing Care Act of BC).
- Processing approved refunds and adjustments, as required.
- Posting validated billing information to Accounting system.
- Assisting in the analysis and reporting of revenue and collections information.
- Other duties as assigned
The successful candidate will meet the below qualifications:
- Previous experience with performing data entry within an Accounting department.
- Experience using Dynamics Great Plains accounting software.
- Experience working within a Seniors Housing or similar Residential Tenancy environment is considered an asset.
- Strong ability to multi-task, manage time effectively and prioritize work.
- Effective customer service, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Able to anticipate needs and take initiative to complete work in the absence of direct supervision and constant direction.
- Successful clearance of a vulnerable sector-criminal record check;
