We are seeking a dedicated Professional Cook who is committed to creating exceptional dining experiences and contributing to a supportive, collaborative team environment.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and bake desserts, soups, and a variety of nutritious, appetizing meals.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen, ensuring all food safety and handling procedures are followed.
- Label, date, and store food properly to support accurate stock rotation.
- Coordinate with colleagues to meet meal service timelines and share equipment and workspace effectively.
- Communicate with dishwashers and servers to support smooth cleanup and service flow.
- Engage briefly with residents to ensure they are satisfied with their meals and overall dining experience.
- Complete required documentation, including inventory records, supply orders, equipment logs, and cost tracking.
What You Bring
- Secondary school completion.
- A culinary program certificate or several years of proven cooking experience.
- Food Safe Certification.
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check.
- A team-focused, self-motivated approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- A negative TB test and up-to-date immunization record.
