We are seeking a dynamic and service-oriented Lifestyle and Hospitality Manager to join our team!

Reporting to the Community Manager, the Lifestyle & Hospitality Manager leads community marketing and sales initiatives in support of occupancy goals, while enhancing resident engagement through meaningful recreational and wellness programming. This role is instrumental in promoting the community, coordinating tours and move-ins, cultivating external partnerships, and creating vibrant lifestyle experiences that reflect our organizational values.

In addition, this position provides light oversight and guidance to housekeeping and laundry services to ensure hospitality standards are consistently upheld and residents enjoy a welcoming, comfortable, and well-maintained environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Builds the calendar of activities for the independent living residents, and coordinates all programming.
  • Conducts monthly resident meetings in conjunction with the Community Manager, Kitchen Manager, and others as necessary.
  • Works directly with the Community Manager to coordinate moves in and out of the Village.
  • Conducts sales tours, calls, follow ups, and walk-ins and walk-outs with tenants or families and updates CRM platform.
  • Works with incoming tenants to complete lease agreements, risk assessments (where needed) and all forms required at move-in. Ensures tenant needs and preferences are addressed in programming, meal planning, hospitality and personal care services.
  • Supervises the Housekeeping/Laundry department including hiring, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Ensures that Golden Life Management policies and procedures are followed, including the completion of performance appraisals for staff in the relevant departments.
  • Collects and maintains statistical information used to evaluate overall program effectiveness, client satisfaction and compliance with program objectives. Maintains an incident reporting system and keeps Community Manager apprised on an ongoing basis.
  • Observes tenants during communal activities and during tenant-initiated interactions for changes in physical or cognitive abilities that require intervention or changes to service provision. Reports and documents same in the tenant record.
  • Under the direction of the Community Manager, participates in Village planning, management and quality improvement activities.
What You Bring
  • Experience in a seniors’ healthcare setting preferred
  • Marketing and community outreach experience considered a strong asset
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, with a participatory leadership style
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Customer service–focused with a commitment to resident-centered care
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Sound knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standards within residential care settings
  • Working knowledge of quality improvement processes, emergency procedures, and WHMIS
  • Successful clearance of a vulnerable sector-criminal record check
  • A negative TB test and up-to-date immunization record.
