Revenue Clerk

We are excited to announce that our Finance department is growing and looking for an exceptional professional to be part of the team!
We’re looking for a Revenue Clerk to join our Corporate Head Office. This position will be based out of Cranbrook, BC, and will be reporting to our Financial Controller. If you are a strong team player, then we’d like to hear from you! The successful candidate will have related experience and a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Receiving billing information from company’s various locations, while reviewing and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation (ie. Tenancy Act and Continuing Care Act of BC).
  • Processing approved refunds and adjustments, as required.
  • Posting validated billing information to Accounting system.
  • Assisting in the analysis and reporting of revenue and collections information.

The successful candidate will meet the below qualifications:
  • Previous experience with performing data entry within an Accounting department.
  • Experience using Dynamics Great Plains accounting software.
  • Experience working within a Seniors Housing or similar Residential Tenancy environment is considered an asset.
  • Strong ability to multi-task, manage time effectively and prioritize work.
  • Effective customer service, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Able to anticipate needs and take initiative to complete work in the absence of direct supervision and constant direction.
  • Cleared Vulnerable Sector – Criminal Record Check
  • Proof of full and current COVID-19 vaccinations
